You will hike with a group of up to 300 participants through the breathtaking landscapes of the province of Girona. You fly in on Tuesday, November 2, and on Sunday, November 7, you\u2019ll pack your bags a33> the return flight. In 4 days, you will set experience all the beauty of the province of Girona on foot. Every day, the race starts and finishes in the Devesa Park, next to the historic center of Girona.<\/p>\n<h4>What can you expect?<\/h4>\n<p>About 70% of the trails are unpaved; imagine fragrant forests and rolling hills. Being in good physical condition is important to fully enjoy the climbs and panoramic views. Choose the distance that suits you: the <b data-path-to-node=\"4,3\" data-index-in-node=\"239\">short route (approx. 18 km)<\/b> or the <b data-path-to-node=\"4,3\" data-index-in-node=\"269\">long route (approx. 25 km)<\/b> with an extra challenging loop.<\/p>\n<h4>Practical Information<\/h4>\n<p>This trip includes transportation from Barcelona Airport to Can Portell, provided you take the flights listed below (the bus schedule is based on these flight times). We\u2019ll also take you every day from our house to the city of Girona, where the hikes begin. The price includes 5 nights\u2019 lodging (in a shared room) with breakfast, 5 dinners, all hiking information and admission fees, plus lunch on-site during the hikes, and insurance. A private room is available for an additional fee.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll book your own travel to and from Girona, but we always share recommended flights. As soon as these flights become available for booking, we\u2019ll let you know which flight we recommend.<\/p>\n<p>If you take a different flight, train, or similar mode of transportation, that&#8217;s fine, but the bus schedules are based on the flights listed above.<\/p>\n<p>Traveling by train from the Netherlands to Girona is also highly recommended. Starting in August, you can buy tickets at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.happyrail.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.happyrail.com<\/a> or at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nsinternational.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.nsinternational.com<\/a>.
